SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A Fargo constitutional lawyer today told the Minnehaha County Commission that petitioners should be able gather signatures inside the courthouse.
Charles Tuttle was addressing the county’s policy of requiring petitioners to stay outside.
Tuttle told the Commission that the petition is not about the petitioner. He says it's about the citizen being able to redress the government. He says the more places they have that opportunity, the better off we are as a republic.
The Commission adjourned into executive session to discuss Tuttle’s request.
