SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police have issued an arrest warrant for the man who fired several rounds from a 45 caliber handgun at a car full of people last night near West 16th and South Williams Avenue.
The suspect is Christian David Ladin Villela, a 20 year old Sioux Falls resident. Christian is 5’7” tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The warrant is for 10 counts of Aggravated Assault and Discharge of a Firearm at an Occupied Car. The warrant carries a $500,000 cash bond. If anyone knows where Christian’s location, please call police.
Officer Sam Clemens says the shooting was the result of two feuding groups of boys and young men. He says it may have started as a fight but the suspect came out of the house with the handgun. The victims got back into their car and fled but not before the suspect shot out the rear window.
Clemens says police found five shell casings near the house on South Williams. The shot-up car was later found in a parking lot on West 12th Street.
No one luckily, police say, was injured.
