SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A constitutional lawyer from Fargo last week addressed the Minnehaha County Commission on allowing petitioners inside the administration building.
Commissioner Gerald Beninga today said the policy of keeping petitioners outside is well defined.
Beninga says the Commission is certainly interested in Democracy of the voting public and "we want to be able to make sure that petitioning process upholds."
If the weather is inclement, petitioners can come inside as long as they’re not in the way.
