Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) A multi-faith prayer service against terrorism held Thursday evening at First United Methodist Church in Sioux Falls also stood against discrimination against Muslim immigrants.
Organizer Carrie Johnson says that the terrorists shouldn't divide us and shouldn't prevent us from helping refugees from ISIS. She says part of the Christmas story is a family seeking refuge and safety.
She says many faiths were represented including local Muslims reading from the Koran. She says it wasn't a night of trying to convert people to other beliefs but rather trying to help "hurting hearts" by celebrating what religions have in common.
