SIOUX FALLS,SD (KELO-AM) The City of Sioux Falls is looking for proposals to develop a new hotel facility in the vicinity of Elmwood Golf Course. The approach announced by the City involves a long term lease arrangement. City Director of Parks and Recreation, Don Kearney says the project should "promote the golfing experience" at Elmwood. Darrin Smith, Community Development Director says the development will also support the new sports and entertainment district envisioned by bussiness and government. Proposals for the development are due to City Hall by January 16th, 2014.
