SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The South Dakota Department of Transportation reopened Interstate 90 from Rapid City to Chamberlain in both directions.
Severe winter driving conditions still continue on I-90 and on many highways statewide. Roads are snow packed and slippery statewide.
DOT reports blowing and drifting snow with zero to near-zero visibility with northwest winds gusting to 40 mph.
No travel is recommended in many areas in western South Dakota.
Reduce speed, turn of cruise, wear your seat belt and put extra distance between you and the car ahead of you.
