Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 pm Saturday evening.

As of 7 a.m. Saturday, the NWS reports 9.7 inches of snow in Sioux Falls.

Snow will gradually diminish from south to north through this morning.  Winds will be increasing with conditions remaining poor due to areas of blowing snow through the afternoon.  Winds will become north gusting to 30 to 35, reducing visibility to a half mile or less at times.

Roads are snow covered and slippery around the immediate area.  No travel is advised on I-90 from the SD Highway 25 exit to Kadoka, parts of Highway 34 and U.S. Highway 281 are also under no travel advisories due to blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibilities.
