SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police arrested two men outside a West 12th Street convenience store last night after one of them dropped a glass drug pipe as he was leaving the store’s bathroom.
Officer Sam Clemens says the manager called police and when they arrived, 23-year-old Daniel Levy, a transient, ran away.
Clemens says police and a K-9 stopped Brown about three blocks away. He says officers release the dog and it brought Brwon to the ground and were able to handcuff him without any injuries. he was found to be a prole absconder and had warrants against him too.
Clemens says Brown is charged with simple assault on a law officer, resisting arrest, obstruction and fleeing.
Police also arrested 23-year-old Dustin Bradley Neve of Sioux Falls for possession of a controlled substance because the pipe allegedly fell from his pocket
