SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A five hour standoff with a man and woman who refused to leave an acquaintance’s apartment west of Kenny Anderson Park ended when they surrendered.
22-year-old Willard Makes Room for Them and 19-year-old Tatiana Cournoyer entered a woman’s apartment without permission around two this morning.
The tenant wanted them out but they wouldn’t leave and she called police.
Makes Room for Them told police he had a gun and the standoff began.
The man and woman came out of the apartment at seven this morning and were arrested for unlawful occupancy.
