SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A state prison inmate who failed to return to a minimum-security unit in Yankton on Friday is in custody.
Inmate Frederick Little was arrested following a stand-off with law enforcement in Sioux Falls this evening.
Little was supposed to return to the Yankton Minimum Unit from his work release job by 6:30 p.m. November 29. When he failed to return on time, escape procedures were enacted.
Little is currently serving a 10-year sentence out of Tripp County for Grand Theft and a 3-year sentence out of McCook County for 3rd degree burglary.
