Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) South Dakota Congreswoman Kristi Noem (R) will attend the sixth annual "It's In The Bag" fundraiser in Sioux Falls for the victims of sexual abuse and trafficking.
All the money raised goes to the Compass Center, a rape and domestic abuse organization in Sioux Falls. The fundraiser will be held at the Sioux Falls Convention Center the evening of February 18. This year the silent auction has a bag for everyone, from purses to golf bags, along with special guest Holly Hoffman, finalist on "Survivor Nicaragua" will talk about her experience with the show and with domestic violence.
Noem has been an outspoken advocate for the victims of sex trafficking and for stronger programs to combat trafficking. She's expected to discuss her latest efforts at the fundraiser.
