SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Feeding South Dakota and the Summit League are teaming up for the "Food Fight" food drive during the basketball tournament at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
Jennifer Stensaas with Feeding South Dakota says fans are asked to bring ten non-perishable food items to the games or donate ten dollars.
Stensaas says the Summit League food drive is part of the college basketball season and the school that brings in the most pounds of donated food earns the "Food Fight" trophy.
Last year South Dakota State was crowned the winner for collecting over 34,000 pounds of food.
