SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A state prison inmate has died.
Inmate Richard Stanga, age 75, died Dec. 5 at a Sioux Falls hospital following an extended illness.
At the time of his death, he was serving a 25-year sentence for first-degree burglary out of Minnehaha County.
The Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating, as is standard procedure in the death of an inmate. An autopsy will be conducted.
