Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says the total snowfall as of 9 PM for Saturday's pre-Easter storm is 6.3 inches! The system's brief visit will put the winter of '15-'16 in the top five snowiest in history. Less than half an inch of new snow is expected through Easter morning. Reports indicate the heaviest snow in an area from Yankton to Pipestone, Minnesota, where totals ranged from 3-9 inches. Law Enforcement patrols report very slippery roads in the region as temperatures drop to the upper teens and 20's overnight. Much of the slushy mess will melt over the next few days, as 50s and 60s return to the forecast for Sunday and Monday!
