SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A neighbor's feud turned violent yesterday afternoon when a 32-year-old man was beaten and hospitalized.
Officer Sam Clemens says the victim was assaulted outside on his property by a neighbor's relative.
Clemens says the neighbors have had an ongoing problem and the feud came to a head yesterday afternoon on West 13th Street. The victim tells police he was hit with an object but authorities have not determined what was used in the attack.
The victim says after he was hit with an object he was punched in the face. He suffered a broken jaw and ankle and lost some teeth. He rquired surgery to repair his jaw.
Clemens couldn't say what the simmering dispute was about and the suspect has not been arrested. But he says they do have some names.
