Lincoln County, SD - The South Dakota Highway Patrol released the names of the two drivers involved in a fatal crash on the Harrisburg/Tea I-29 Exit that occurred Saturday afternoon.
Levi Sandal, 26, of Sioux Falls, was the motorcycle driver killed after colliding with another vehicle at the exit.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says Joshua Anderson, 19, of Sioux Falls had just exited I-29, stopping at the intersection of 273rd street, before turning left onto the street.
His vehicle collided with Sandal's motorcycle, who was driving westbound on 273rd street.
State troopers say Sandal was not wearing a helmet and died of his injuries. Anderson was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The exit was closed to traffic for several hours during the investigation. Officials with the South Dakota Highway Patrol continue to investigate the crash.
