Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) - Sioux Falls Police continue their investigation into Friday’s fatal shooting. The main suspect still at large. Captain Blaine Larsen said PD thinks the suspected shooter is getting help hiding and moving around from some in town. SFPD is getting help, too....from other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
Officers were called to the Lucky Lady Casino parking lot about 6:45 Friday night. Officers located the shooting victim, 27-year-old Baptise Paul White Eyes of Sioux Falls. White Eyes is a Native American male. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his wounds.
The Sioux Falls Police Department has identified a suspect in the homicide as Jared Jerome Stone. He is a 20 year old Native American male, 5'7", 150 lbs, black hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a black short sleeve t-shirt, gold chain with a cross, black Minnesota Twins hat, and dark colored jeans. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous and the public should not approach.
A second person is also being sought in connection with the case. Lachara Marie Bordeaux, age 26, is believed to be involved. She is Native American, 5’6”, 135 lbs. Call CRIMESTOPPERS at 367-7007 with any information.
