SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Police say the woman suspected of driving the car with homicide suspect Jared Stone inside, after Friday's fatal shooting, was arrested in LeMars, Iowa, this morning.
Officer Sam Clemens says an arrest warrant for accessory to homicide, with $1 million cash bond, was issued for Lachara Bordeaux.
There will be an extradition hearing in Iowa for Bordeaux unless she waives that motion.
Clemens says authorities have not located murder suspect 21-year-old Jared Jerome Stone. Bordeaux did tell investigators Stone was with her last night in LeMars. Stone is accused fatally shooting 28-year-old Baptise White Eyes Friday after a fight in the Lucky Lady Casino spilled into the parking lot.
Sioux Falls Police says Stone may be driving a 1998 blue Chevy Lumina with a South Dakota license plate 52DC99. It was last seen in Le Mars, Iowa.
Clemens says police are fielding many tips and that it's only a matter of time before Stone is arrested.
