SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a fourteen-year-old Sioux Falls girl suffered non-life threatening injuries in a car pedestrian accident yesterday afternoon on South Cliff Avenue near Tuthill Park.
Officer Sam Clemens says a 56-year-old woman was driving the speed limit and riding the brake going downhill, northbound on Cliff.
Clemens says every witness told investigators that the girl stepped out into the road. The accident happened Thursday about a quarter to five.
Clemens says the girl will not face charges. He did not have an update on the girl's condition.
Damage to the woman's car is estimated at $2,000.
