SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) -The Sioux Falls School Board today hears a detailed report on how the District will invest $140,000 testing fourth and fifth graders for better data used to drive learning.

Board President Kent Alberty says a two-year grant is finished and a third year of information is needed.

Alberty says that fourth and fifth grade is when students start using data to help them do research and make decisions.  Alberty says the Board wants to make sure it's doing the best it can for students and staff.

Other reports from the superintendent today include the building tech integration team leaders report about the one-to-one Chromebook initiative.

The Board will also hear an update on the seven-year strategic plan.
