SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The City feels the second time will be the charm in finding a partner for a mixed-use, downtown parking ramp project.
Short-time, Community Development Director Darrin Smith says last year's project, "The Banks," fell victim to higher-than-anticipated construction costs.
Smith says the City intends on launching another competitive process to find a private partner, or partners. He says the details will be revealed once the document is ready to be released.
The City will launch a request for proposals in June seeking a private partner. The project will be marshaled by incoming Director of Community Development Daren Ketcham.
