SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Bio-fuel advocates urged the Environmental Protection Agency today to increase its proposed targets for ethanol and biofuels its only public hearing in Kansas City.
The Missouri Director of Agriculture, Richard Fordyce, says it's not a complicated issue.
Fordyce says bio-fuels are win for consumers and taxpayers, they're a win for agriculture, a win for farmers and a win for motorists. He says he can't understand why the standards are such a problem.
Advocates say the proposed rules continue to create uncertainty for bio-fuel investors and producers.
Four POET representatives will testify today at the EPA’s public hearing in Kansas City regarding the Renewable Fuel Standard proposed 2017 rules.
POET’s representatives are

- Steve Seabrook, Vice President, Commercial Relations, POET Ethanol Products
