Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) The President of the Board of the Muslims Community Center of South Dakota says his organization condemns the Orlando shooting terror attack. Hesham Elgouhari spoke with KELO Radio Sunday afternoon. He says his organization is mindful that there may be more anti-Muslim feelings in the wake of the slaughter, but his group is dedicated to the "true teachings of Islam", which call for peace and harmony.
A Middle East based news agency says the Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack.
Elgouhari says the people practicing the Islamic belief in the area are wanting a peaceful life, and be viewed as "productive citizens"
