SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Home buying heats up this time of year in Sioux Falls and Lutheran Social Services offers free classes to anyone needing information when purchasing a home.
Breck Miller says South Dakota Housing loans require the class certificate and there may be closing cost credits available to anyone taking the class.
Miller says attendees often show up very nervous about the process. But he says by the time they have completed the course, they're usually excited and eager to move forward with buying a home. They often tell LSS that they wish they would have taken the class sooner.
The class include both one and two day options and registration is available at the Lutheran Social Services website.
Homebuyer Express can also be completed as a one-on-one at CFR's office or via video conference for those living outside the Sioux Falls area.
