Sioux Falls SD (KELO AM) - If you enjoy reading South Dakota Magazine's stories of history, arts, culture, sports and outdoors, you have a chance to meet the people who produce it. The magazine authors will sign their new book 'South Dakota 125: A Pictorial History,' at Zandbroz Variety, 209 S. Phillips Ave., on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m.
"People will enjoy this book because it depicts life in South Dakota and the people who live it," said John Andrews, Managing Editor. "You'll see the buffalo ranchers, bridge builders, cowgirls, war heroes, artists and all who make South Dakota unique. It's a photographic history of our fascinating state and a great gift."
"South Dakota 125 commemorates the state’s quasquicentennial year, coming in 2014," said Andrews. "This coffee table quality book features one photo from every year, 1889 to today, which helps tell the South Dakota’s story."
South Dakota Magazine is a bimonthly publication based in Yankton.
