SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) A portion of busy 11th street in central Sioux Falls near downtown was shut down Tuesday afternoon, as police investigated a stabbing near the Lucky Lady Casino.
A 29 year old man was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries from the incident. Police say the suspect is still at large but they don't believe that the public is in any danger. It's believed the perp and the victim knew each other
The incident caused both pedestrian and vehicle traffic to be diverted from the area for a few hours, however traffic was flowing again by 5pm. A mobile crime lab was brought in as police searched a home in the area for evidence.
In April, a man was shot and killed near the same location.
