With more than 8.5 million records sold and twelve No. 1 hits under his belt, Aldean released one of 2012’s most buzzed about new albums, the PLATINUM selling, #1 NIGHT TRAIN. Entertainment Weekly calls Aldean’s delivery on the album “epic,” and Billboard points to the singer pushing the limits to move his “sound forward sonically, vocally and lyrically.”
Aldean sold out each of the shows on his previous MY KINDA PARTY TOUR. He has broken more than 40 venue attendance records, and the tour has gone on to sell an unparalleled 1.9 million tickets. He also recently sold out four stadium shows during his 2013 NIGHT TRAIN TOUR.
His last album, MY KINDA PARTY, was the top-selling country album of 2011 and the fifth-best seller across all genres. It spawned five consecutive No. 1 hits including the TRIPLE PLATINUM “Dirt Road Anthem” and the crossover smash “Don’t You Wanna Stay” featuring Kelly Clarkson. Last year Aldean also won his first two Country Music Association awards, with MY KINDA PARTY securing the coveted Album of the Year trophy.
