SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A Sioux Falls man says three men, one armed with a handgun, tried robbing him early this morning at 9th Street and Grange Avenue.
Officer Sam Clemens says the 33 year old victim was walking when the suspects got out of their car and asked if he had any money. He told them he didn't have any money and one of the suspects pointed a gun him. Clemens says the victim fell to the ground the suspects punched and kicked him. They fled and the victim ran to a convenience store and called police.
Clemens says the suspects did not get anything from the victim.
The driver is described as white male, in his thirties, five-ten and 175 pounds.
The other suspects are described as black males, one in his twenties, short, medium build and holding the gun.
The victim was treated and released for minor injuries.
