SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The “It’s All About Science Festival,” tomorrow in Sioux Falls, celebrates the exploration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Sanford Researcher Jill Weimer says the Festival showcases all things science to the Northern Plains Community.
Weimer says that includes hands-on science activities, demonstrations and exhibits. She says the goal is to spark that interest in science to carry it forward and get more people in STEM professions.
Stem is an acronym for science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The Science Festival is Saturday, June 8, from nine to five at the Sanford Center off Benson Road and is free of charge.
