Sioux Falls economy declared 3rd best in the country

Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) - Sioux Falls had the third fastest growing economy in America last year, according to USA Today newspaper.

Sioux Falls grew at a sparkling rate of 5.2%, beating out Fargo and Bismarck, for example, despite the big oil boom in North Dakota. The newspaper cities the vibrant financial sector in Sioux Falls and last year's record number of construction permits. It's projected that the Sioux Falls economy will grow nearly 3% this year.

USA Today reports that the city with the number one fastest growing economy in American in 2013 was Midland, Texas, at an incrediable 7.5%.
