Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) 'Tech Ed Works For Me' is a new collaborative initiative based at Southeast Tech to get more young people interested in technical careers.
The Tech Foundation's Nancee Sturdevant say they'll reach out with new advertising, through social media and with tech talks to parents and students at local high schools. She says there is not a day that goes by that Southeast Tech does not get calls from employers looking for skilled workers.
The initial investment for the new initiative came from Foward Sioux Falls and now more than 25 industry organizations and businesses have joined the awareness campaign.
