Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - There is more evidence showing up that this has been a harsh winter: frozen pipes.
Water distribution supervisor Brad Maddox says the City of Sioux Falls has received more calls this winter than he can remember in the time he has been with the city.
With spring right around the corner, warmer temperatures will drive frost deeper, making frozen pipes a possibility.
One solution is to keep one faucet running a thin stream until the threat of frozen pipes goes away.
