SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - No one was injured in a modular home fire last night at 14th and Ribbon Places.
Sioux Falls Fire/Rescue found smoke and flames coming from the roof when they arrived around 9:30.
A passerby alerted the resident who was outside with a dog when crews arrived. A second dog was rescued when firefighters opened the door to a bedroom.
The fire was under control in 40 minutes and the roof and attic sustained fire damage.
The home did not have working smoke detectors and the cause of the fire is under investigation
