SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Most of the focus has been on the Mayor’s race and ballot questions but there are two candidates running for a spot on the Sioux Falls school board.
Incumbent Doug Morrison says the biggest challenge facing the district is student diversity. If re-elected, this would be Morrisons third term on the board
Challenger Roger Russell, a Sioux Falls realtor, says board members should be responsive to parent’s concerns. As a realtor Russell says he understands the importance of keeping property taxes low.
The City-School Board election is April 8th.
