Absentee voting opens Monday, March 24

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - You won’t have to wait until Tuesday, April 8^th, to vote in the Sioux Falls City-School Board election.

City Clerk Lorie Hogstad says absentee ballots will be available Monday, March 24.  She says you can vote absentee at the Minnehaha County Auditor's Office.  Absentee voting will end at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 7.

Voters are choosing a school board member, four council members, a mayor and four ballot questions.

If you have any questions about absentee voting, call the Auditor's Office at 367-4220.             

Hogstad says absentee voting will also be available Saturday, April 5^th from eight til noon.
