SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a Florida woman’s death in a Sioux Falls motel room doesn’t appear suspicious but three of her traveling friends are facing drug charges.

Officer Sam Clemens says the suspects came to Sioux Falls to fill prescriptions written in Florida. Clemens says the suspects told investigators that the drugs were cheaper in South Dakota but police believe once they had the pills they would return to Florida and sell them.  He says this may not be the suspect's first trip here.

Clemens says police seized pills of oxycodone, naproxen and clonazapam; unfilled prescriptions and 1.4 grams of cocaine from the dead woman's purse, which started the investigation.

Clemens says the suspects, 50-year-old Grady McKinney, 30-year-old Marvin Hollinger and 46-year-old Dominique St. Amand are charged with distributing, and conspiracy to distribute, controlled substances.

An autopsy is being done on the 41-year-old woman from Fort Lauderdale.
