Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO AM) - A controversy that all started when political blogger Cory Heidelberger brought an affidavit to the secretary of state questioning the legitimacy of signatures of US Senate candidate Dr. Annette Bosworth, has now gotten even more heated.
A former consultant to the Annette Bosworth Campaign, Ethan Crisp, has come forward and claims that Bosworth and her husband were in the Philippines at the time the petitions bearing her witness signatures were made. Crisp swears that this is not for politics or his own gain.
Bosworth, appearing on KELO's Greg Belfrage Show Thursday morning, seemed to indicate that she witnessed the signature petitions after advice from her counsel. She claims only about 37 signature petitions were involved.
