The bridge removal is scheduled to take place between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday nights. During those hours, north and southbound I-29 traffic will be diverted around the bridge onto the exit and entrance ramps.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls police are offering metro-area parents of special needs children a voluntary registration program to help in the search of a missing child.

Sergeant Tim Hagen says the information can shorten the search.  Once parents call 911 to report a missing child, the information will be readily available to officers.  He says police don't have to interview the parents about the child saving what Hagen calls downtime in the search.

A recent study by the Interactive Austims Network says that almost half of people with ASD are prone to wandering.  The are also at higher risk of injury or death because they may not comprehend what is dangerous and what is not.
