Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO AM) - The Sioux Falls Police Department was dispatched to the Crown Casino, last night for an armed robbery that had just occurred.
Officer Sam Clemens says this is the city's seventh casino armed robbery since the first of the year.
It was reported that a lone male suspect entered the casino armed with a box cutter and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied with the suspects demands. The suspect then fled the casino with an undetermined amount of money. No injuries were reported to the police.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20’s, approximately five foot six inches tall with a thin build. The suspect has brown hair and hazel eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black stocking hat with star shapes on the front, black zippered hooded sweat shirt, black bandana over his face, black gloves, khaki pants, and black tennis shoes with white soles.
