SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Saturday’s Cinco de Mayo celebration in Sioux Falls is five days late but it’s not short on food or entertainment.
Sister Janet says the proceeds help the Caminando Juntos Ministries of the Presentation Sisters. The Ministries offer services to the Sioux Falls Latino community such as English classes, advocacy, networking, counseling and immigraton services.
The Wells Fargo Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at the Falls includes free music and features a Kid's Zone with face painting, musical chairs and inflatables. There will be a variety of ethnic foods along with pop, water and alcoholic beverages.
The Cinco de Mayo Falls Park Fiesta is from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
