Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Three Sioux Falls businesses will be spotlighted for their success in both in person and online sales on Thursday by the Internet Association, the unified voice of the Internet economy. Blend Interactive, Chelsea’s Boutique, and CH Patisserie will be featured with tours and a question-and-answer segment about how their brick-and-mortar businesses have harnessed innovative web technologies to grow their businesses. The business owners will also speak about how the internet has helped their shops grow and the positive impact their online presence has had on the local community.
South Dakota Senator John Thune will be part of the tours, along with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) members Michael O’Rielly and Ajit Pai, members of Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc., the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce, and representatives of Internet Association member companies AOL and Facebook.
