SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - There were two reported tornadoes in the listening area last night.
Sioux Falls Forecaster Todd Heitkamp says one touched down three miles south of Humboldt. Heitkamp says the tornado damaged a farmhouse but there were no injuries reported. He says the Weather Service will send out forecasters later today to evaluate the damage in an effort to determine the size of the twister.
Another tornado briefly touched down five miles south of George, Iowa. Heitkamp says the damage from that one was minimal
Other severe weather reports included hall measuring 1 1/2 inches falling in McCook County and wind gusts at 60 mph or stronger in Clay County, Iowa.
