SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A Chamberlain woman is accused of stealing an employee’s pickup from the Bargain Barn on North Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls late yesterday morning.
Officer Sam Clemens says 33-year-old Toni Marie Bakerlogg was with a male friend who wanted to buy tires.
Clemens says the keys were left in an F-350 truck and Bakerlogg allegedly drove it to a nearby parking lot. As the victim was calling police, a fellow employee saw the truck pull into the Dakota Angle parking lot. The employee drove his vehicle to the parking lot and blocked the truck preventing it from movings
Clemens says Bakerlogg is charged with grand theft. The truck is valued at thirty-thousand dollars.
He couldn’t say why Bakerlogg took the pickup.
