Sioux Falls S.D. (KELO AM) - The Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce will host an Inside Washington forum with each member of South Dakota's Congressional delegation:

Inside Washington with U.S. Sen. Tim Johnson will be held Friday, Aug. 9 at Holiday Inn City Centre Falls Room, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Inside Washington with U.S. Sen. John Thune will be held Tuesday, Aug. 13 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center Ballroom A, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Immediately following the Inside Washington lunch, Thune will meet with approximately 25 members of the Chamber's Young Professionals Network to discuss issues and take questions. Seats are still available for the luncheon and more than 200 people are expected to attend. A few spots remain for the YPN "Sit Down with the Senator;" you must be a YPN member to participate.

We are still coordinating dates with U.S. Rep. Kristi Noem and hope to have an announcement soon with a time and location for members to meet with her.

Each delegate will speak briefly at noon, updating the audience on actions taking place in their respective house. They then will take questions from the audience at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Seating is limited and pre-registration is required. Tickets are $25 per person for Chamber members or $50 for non-members, which includes lunch. RSVP to Amy Smolik at 605.373.2054 orasmolik@siouxfalls.com.

Inside Washington is a forum sponsored by the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Issues Management Council. To ensure Chamber members' voices are heard by South Dakota's Washington, D.C. representatives, each of South Dakota's three delegates is invited to participate in an informative dialogue bringing Chamber members and elected officials together.
