SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A southwest Sioux Falls home sustained major fire and smoke damage this morning.
When Fire Rescue arrived on South Holbrook Avenue just after six, there was heavy fire and smoke coming from the house and garage.
It took firefighters an hour to extinguish the blaze.
No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.
Fire Rescue sent four fire trucks, three support vehicles and 19 firefighters. Remember, check your smoke alarm batteries and develop an escape plan for emergencies.
