SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Making meth is dangerous enough, but to make it while driving is a recipe for disaster, according to Sioux Falls police
Officer Sam Clemens says 24-year-old JayJay Coronado suffered extensive chemical burns Friday night when an ordinary pop bottle used to make meth ruptured.
Clemens says the one-pot met lab is mobile enough to be used anywhere, including in a car. He says meth labs have transitioned from large scale operations to a two-liter pop bottle.
Coronado and 38-year-old Kristy Wilker are charged with possessing controlled substance, manufacturing controlled substance and violating a drug free zone.
