SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Senator John Thune is recognizing Scott and Jamie Nagy of Brookings with this year’s “Angels in Adoption” award.
Thune is a member of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption and it’s an award he presents annually to South Dakota families.
Thune says Jamie works closely with other familites in Brooking to help guide them through the hurdles of adoption.
Head coach of the South Dakota State University men’s basketball team, Nagy works the sidelines barefoot as part of “Samaritan’s Feet” which provides shoes to kids in impoverished countries.
