Brandon, SD (KELO AM) - After a wet June, and the lack of rain in July, Brandon residents are now restricted in watering lawns and gardens.
The City of Brandon began the mandatory water restrictions on July 24 after four straight days of pushing the capacity of the water system. If you live at an even numbered address, you can water on even numbered days. People living at odd numbered addresses can water on odd numbered days.
All watering in the city of Brandon is prohibited from 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
According to the Brandon Valley Challenger, people that violate the restrictions are subject to a fine.
