Sioux Falls S.D. (KELO AM) - The Supnami is a paddleboard race that wil take place on Lake Alvin on Aug. 9th. This is the second year of raising awareness for the local Stand Up Paddling (SUP) community, SUP safety and outdoor fitness.
The Supnami will begin with approximately 1.5 miles of Stand-up Paddleboarding, transitioning to a 3.1 mile run.
There will be a technical shirt for each participant, post race food and beverages, and prizes for the top 3 finishers in the individual race (both mens and womens) and team relay.
This event is for all levels of fitness, from never been on a SUP board to the expert, and ages 16 up. Participants can register at www.supnamirace.com
