SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A Sioux Falls man is charged with possessing a concealed weapon after he allegedly discharged a Taser in public early Wednesday morning.
Officer Sam Clemens says 20 year old Sheldon Chuck Cortez is accused of activating the Taser in front of people on West 11th Street.
Clemens says Cortez pulled the Taser from his short's pocket and was showing it to a small crowd. That''s when Cortez made it spark and that's when an officer saw him
Clemens says Cortez is also charged with discharging a weapon in city limits, disorderly conduct and underage consumption.
Cortez did not make any threats and no one was injured.
